Kane Case Put To Bed

via WIVB,

NHL star Patrick Kane and his cousin James Kane have pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct.

The charges stem from an incident earlier this month.

The Kanes had been accused of beating the cab driver after a dispute over a fare.

Patrick and James Kane have been sentenced to one year conditional discharge and they will issue an apology to cab driver Jan Radecki.

Thanks Patrick.  Now we are no better than the NBA.  Next time, ease up on the beers, ok.  And to think I thought Avery was a punk....at least he keeps his beatings (giving and receiving) on the ice.  Hey, and ya think Kane should get some mandatory anger management classes from the NHL as well?  You would think so, but mostly likely won’t happen, seeing that he is Chicago’s pretty boy.

Well, at least we still have players like S. Neidermeyer, Datsyuk, Selanne, and memories of guys like Sakic that truly represent what hockey is...which is hard work, class and style.
