“He’s the most cerebral player I’ve ever coached,” Predators coach Barry Trotz said. “It’s like having another coach out there on the ice. I can tell a player this or that and it’s so much lip-service. It falls on deaf ears. But Paul can say the same thing ... and it just clicks with the guys. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
