As a Devils fan, Toronto CLEARLY got the better player in this deal.  Klee is a journeyman 3rd-4th defenseman who is 34 and getting older.  Suglobov is the Devils minor league affiliate’s leading scorer and has a tremendous upside.  The only reason I could see Lamoriello trade Suglobov is that the Devils believe he is two one-dimensional.  But in my opinion, his dimension is what this team needs - OFFENSE!

Or this could be a move to set up another trade by the deadline, considering the Devils have too many defenseman now (unless Matvichuk’s recent injury is serious).

Overall, Lou Lamoriello has made another bad personel move, following up his awful signings of McGillis, Malakhov, and Mogilny.
