If the excitement of tonight’s season opener isn’t enough for you, this should get you going…late last night—very late—Anze Kopitar agreed to a contract extension with the Kings. I don’t know the length and value of the contract yet…

Great news. Assuming it’s a longer term deal, that gives the Kings Anze, Dustin Brown and O’Sullivan for at least the next 3 years. Now all they need is a goalie!
