Legace Fighting Slump

from Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch,

Blues goalie Manny Legace said after Wednesday’s 4-3 defeat at Buffalo that he’s at a loss for what is ailing him.

Legace said it’s not the groin injury that kept him out for two weeks, and after playing Saturday night in Los Angeles, he couldn’t blame rust.

“If I could tell you, I would never play awful ... I’d never have a bad stretch in my career ... I’d be making $100 million a year,” said Legace, who allowed three goals on seven shots before Chris Mason replaced him 5 minutes, 18 seconds into the game.
