Legwand Takes A Puck To The Face

from John Glennon of the Tennessean,

Predators center David Legwand is doubtful for tonight’s game against San Jose after taking a puck to the side of his face during practice Wednesday.

The team plans to re-evaluate his status today after some of the considerable swelling goes down from the area. So it’s uncertain whether or not he’s dealing with a broken bone.

continue for more on the Preds including some follow-up on the Brad Staubitz/Jordin Tootoo fight last week which you can watch here if you missed it.

It would be worth it to buy CenterIce just to see Staubitz pound Tootoo again tonight.

The argument about Staublitz using his elbow/ forearm is an interesting one, and Pred fans are probably right that the league would do more if it were someone else besides Tootoo who was the victim. Too too bad.

If it’s worth it, come up off that wallet, Nathan. Cause you just know Toots has no chance in the rematch. No chance.
