Let The ‘C’ Be Seen

from the Vancouver Sun,

You’ve spoken - more than 2,200 of you - on whether Vancouver Canucks star goalie Roberto Luongo should be allowed to wear the captain’s C on his jersey during NHL games.

The Vancouver Sun will present this petition to National Hockey League headquarters in New York next Tuesday.

Good God, next they will want Luongo to take the ceremonial face-offs....

And Lord knows that would spell the final days of humanity.  He’s the Captain, give him the C.  That’s easily one of the stupider rules on the books.

I agree, I don’t see a reason why they wouldn’t put it on. Back here in MSU Jeff Lerg is they captain and he gets to wear the “C” and all is right with the world. It even looks pretty cool on a goalie.
