from Adrian Dater of All Things Avs,
Old friend Mats Wennerholm from the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet gave this account, with quotes from Foppa:
“I watched Foppa play tonight. He assisted on Modo’s first goal and made the game winning goal in sudden deathI haven´t seen him better in five years.
He was dominating the game and even had a brawl with ex-Shark Marcus Ragnarsson.
All the experts here in Sweden were stunned. The old Foppa was back....”

Besides, it’s much stiffer competition in the NHL now. I personally think Forsberg would rather be a big fish in a little pond than have to try and earn it in the NHL again.

Well, I’m a and b on this.
On the A side, he can still be a ppg player in the NHL. He is still a force to be reckoned with. When he plays, the team he plays for wins 90% of the time.
B. How many games does he actually play a season? I would love him on the Avs, but I would hate if they paid him 5 mil for less than 25 games.

..but for how long? It would be great news if he was back and able to remain healthy for an entire season… but how could anyone take a chance on him knowing his past?
