From Paul Kukla at NHL.com,
Here we are smack-dab in the middle of July and I have a hockey itch that needs to be scratched. I catch some classic games on the NHL Network, I pop in a DVD and watch Slap Shot and I hit the play button on the DVR to watch Mystery Alaska over and over again.
But I need more, much more. I drive by the local ice arena and peek in. The ice is gone, instead a dog & cat show is in progress. I head over to one of the outdoor roller hockey rinks and I catch a group of kids racing their remote control cars on the smooth surface.
I am about to leave the roller hockey rink, dejected, when a caravan of cars pull up.
