Losing Miller No Big Loss For Bolts

from Damian Cristodero of Lightning Strikes,
Let’s start by saying this: the loss of wing Drew Miller to the Detroit Red Wings through waivers is not going to change anything about how the Tampa Bay Lightning does this season. Miller, good defensively, was pretty much invisible offensively with zero points in 14 games. Certainly, Paul Szczechura, called up from AHL Norfolk, can do just as much, and I bet will do more.
But we should also note that all that is left of the trade of Evgeny Artyukhin to the Ducks in exchange for Miller is now a 2010 third-round draft pick. We will wait and see how that pays off.

He was expected to produce offense there it seems. With us, he’ll just be a PK and forechecker guy. Anything else is just bonus.
He did do well tonight. Let’s see if he can hold on to a spot. Otherwise, good addition to the Grifs.

Miller looked pretty good tonight with May and Abdelkader. At one point that line sustained pressure in the Canucks zone and generated a bunch of scoring chances.
Anyone ever think maybe the Lightning organization just stinks so much and is so poorly coached that the minute players put on the Bolt sweater they lose their game?
