Malkin Walks, Doesn’t Talk

from Bruce Arthur of the National Post,
Evgeni Malkin did not exactly duck the media on Tuesday. Instead, the Pittsburgh Penguins star ran, skittering through the locker room of his team’s practice facility with a member of the Pittsburgh public relations team trying to chase him down, shouting his nickname. “Geno!” she yelled, getting a handful of his skin-tight shirt. But it hardly slowed him down, and Malkin gleefully absconded through a door.
“He’ll walk by you every time, guys,” the Penguins employee said cheerfully. “How many times do I have to tell you?”
It was fitting, since Malkin has made only cameo appearances in the first two games of Pittsburgh’s second-round playoff series with the Washington Capitals.
