The National Hockey League has designated Wednesday, March 3 as the 2010 trade deadline, Sportsnet has learned.
The NHL is closing for a two week period in February to allow their stars to compete in the 2010 Winter Olympics, and the deadline is set for three days after the Games conclude in Vancouver.
