from Sharks.com,
The Sharks front office is happy with getting a player like forward Jamal Mayers to fit into the roster. On the other hand, Mayers is just as happy to be coming to San Jose.
“It’s certainly very exciting news,” said Mayers from his St. Louis home. “I’m glad we were able to come to an agreement and get something done. I’m really excited about fitting in with the group and being part of something special. I’ve just been here in St. Louis in the offseason training and getting prepared for the season and waiting to get the call that a team like San Jose was interested.”
For Mayers, there’s no doubt, a team like the Sharks was at the forefront of his desired locations.
