from Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun,
Senators GM Bryan Murray said yesterday that he’s talked with several teams about potential trades, but doesn’t plan to make any roster changes prior to the start of training camp on Sept. 17.
“Right now, we’re planning to go with what we have,” said Murray. “We have a good hockey team. We’ve brought in some people that we believe in critical situations will perform for us....”
“The message to our team is: You can trust each other and you can trust us to want this team to have the proper reputation in the community. We certainly want to be strong together in the room and I don’t know where I could have found more stronger character people to put in the room.”
