Morgan Into The Wings

via the Edmonton Sun,

How does Morgan Pressel, a teenage golfer from Florida, become a huge Detroit Red Wings fan?
“My family is from Detroit, so I’m a huge Red Wings fan and have always been,” she said. “I love it. I grew up watching them play. My whole family is into it.”

note: The Canadian Women’s Open is being played in Edmonton this week…

Check the biceps. If anything happens to Maltby this year, the Wings might want to bring Morgan in as a checking line forward.

Actually, I’d love to see a line of Pressel, Creamer and Gulbis…but not necessarily on the ice.  wink

Heck, if you are older than Chelios, I thought you might have said Jan Stephenson.

Ah, yes, Jan Stephenson. Excellent choice, Paul. Another “old-timer” favorite of mine was Kris Tschetter.

I was hoping Big Break III’s Danielle Amiee would be the next Jan Stephenson, but, apparently, she wasn’t big enough…in the, ah, talent department.

Well it’s obvious from that picture of Danielle that she has enormous natural talents.  But it’s equally clear from the other that Jan]s talents are so huge that no other woman in LPGA history could ever hope to measure up to her.  Too bad, Danielle.
