“He’s a great player. I was lucky enough to play with him in World Juniors. He’s got a lot of skill. He’s a dangerous player out there.”
“He’s making a strong case for the Olympic team. He deserves all the credit he gets.”

The Crosby endorsement is crucial to any player who wants to play for the Canadiens in Vancouver.

HEY HEY HEY!!!
It’s Canadians. We are not Montreal Canadiens. We are not French, as much as the 7 million of our 33 million person population want us all to be. I see you’re from New England, but please, if you must, only use that spelling and pronounciation in your local daily dealings.
I don’t call Americans some derogatory name that I can’t think of.

Canadiens= Derogatory
Canadians= Politically Correct.
I must confess I’m ignorant about this , Is it a fact?
Well,I’m going to blame it on my spelling anyway, it’s terrible.

Pretty much up to a point. You can call me any name you can think of, you can threaten my family, call my Mom or sister any number of names, but when that ‘e’ is used to address non-French-Canadians (I’m fine with a French Canadian using French spellings of words in their English lives) there is something set off in my body.
The French minority in Canada has a long tradition of a strong sense of entitlement, as though Canada is, always was, and will be again, theirs.

They’ve long wanted to separate from Canada to be their own nation.

As with anything else there are people for and against all of these points, but I believe/know that a good rule of thumb is to not confuse Canada’s equality with Québec’s general arrogance.
For Christ’s Sake our government’s service site http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/ has French before English. Take a look at those people in the picture, how many do you think have French heritage? Maybe the gray’d man with his wife.
