Musictown Vs. Hockeytown

from George Johnson at ESPN,
These whacky Preds actually believe they can contend for the Stanley Cup. A team from Music City, USA. And why not? The last two franchises to hoist the hallowed mug, the Lightning and Hurricanes, aren’t exactly located in traditional hockey hotbeds.
After a jittery opening three games, Barry Trotz’s boys have stepped on the gas and rediscovered their groove.
With the Stevie Y-less, Shanny-less Detroit Red Wings revamping and the title of Hockeytown very much a debatable one these days, the Predators, built on speed and sass, are a perfect fit for the new NHL, the upwardly mobile yuppies of the Central Division.
