Just a reminder NBC, the NHL season has started!!!

added 8:42pm, I emailed NBC earlier asking them about the site, and received no response. I have heard they may be going another route with the site, but without an answer, it is a question that remains unanswered.

So more information. if you check the nbc sports home page you will see they don’t even link to the NHL any longer. they send you to MSNBC as the only home page link.
I had this bookmarked from last year… pitiful..

What are you, some kind of Earth-hating capitalist? You had to turn on your computer to go to NBCsports.com first to see they haven’t updated any hockey news and then to email the network. Don’t you know the all powerful NBC network has declared this is ‘universal green’ week, even though if people actually carried through with what the network allegedly seeks they will turn televisions off too?
You, Paul, should be ashamed.

You have to go to MSNBC’s NHL page to get the “Bellowing Moose’s” comments these days.
Last season, if you recall, NBC Sports didn’t implement its NHL page until late November or early December, and this may be par for its course in terms of updating “out of [its broadcast] season.”
I have to go burn some baby penguins now.

All they did was migrate the site over to MSNBC, which they did with several of their sports areas. If you go to http://www.nbcsports.com and click on the “NHL” tab, you get normal up-to-date website. You must have somehow dug up some old hidden page that they’ve yet to take down.
No scandal here, folks. Sorry!

I agree Mike, but they should have re-direct from the link they appear not to be using this season.
I suggested that in an email to them, but as I mentioned, no response back.
Many of the hockey fans have that link bookmarked from last season and a simple re-direct would solve the problem.
