GLENDALE, ARIZONA—- Mike Nealy today was named Chief Operating Officer of the Phoenix Coyotes. Nealy, who had been the Coyotes’ Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, replaces Doug Moss, who has left the organization to pursue other business opportunities.
“On behalf of the National Hockey League, I send thanks to Doug for his devoted service to the team, the fans and to Jobing.com Arena,” said NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly. “We wish Doug the best as he moves on to a new chapter in his career.”
Nealy joined the Coyotes on January 30, 2006 after spending four years as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller with the Minnesota Wild and Minnesota Sports & Entertainment. As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Nealy was responsible for overseeing all of the Finance and Administration functions for the Coyotes and Jobing.com Arena and most recently also played a leadership role with Sales and Marketing.
