NHL Network Brings Us Live Hockey

NEW YORK (September 26, 2008)—NHL Network in the U.S. and Canada will provide live coverage of the Philadelphia Flyers’ pre-season game in their original home arena, the Spectrum, against the Carolina Hurricanes Sept. 27 at 1 p.m., ET. NHL Network also will cover the exhibition between the New York Rangers and SC Bern from Bern, Switzerland Sept. 30 at noon, ET, and the inaugural IIHF Victoria Cup game between the Rangers and Metallurg Magnitogorsk Oct. 1 at 1:30 p.m., ET.
All games are subject to local blackout rules.

Saturday, September 27
1 p.m. ET – Carolina Hurricanes at Philadelphia Flyers (from the Spectrum)
Tuesday, September 30
Noon ET: NY Rangers at SC Bern (from Bern, Switzerland)*
Wednesday, October 1
1:30 p.m. ET - Victoria Cup: NY Rangers at Metallurg Magnitogorsk (from Bern, Switzerland)*
Sunday, October 5
5 p.m. ET – Buffalo Sabres at Detroit Red Wings
*—NHL Network coverage will be blacked out in the metro New York area due to MSG broadcast.
