Colorado Avalanche center Paul Stastny, New York Islanders center Mike Comrie and Nashville Predators goaltender Chris Mason have been named the NHL’s ‘Three Stars’ for the week ending October 7.

As were a few other bloggers which are linked to in the story. It’s a treat watching Stastny play. The kid is so aware of the ice both offensively and defensively.
Comrie is a different player this year. I’m watching him right now against the Caps and when he’s on the ice, he’s got the puck. I guess Hillary has lifted his spirits.
Chris Mason’s play, and Vokouns non-play, have proven the Preds right in going with Mason at 1/4 the price.
