NHL.com Continues To Grow

NEW YORK (March 14, 2007) – NHL.com and the NHL.com Network—which includes NHL.com, all 30 club sites and affiliate sites—once again has increased its traffic for the month of January according to recently released reports by comScore Networks. The NHL.com Network delivered 6,373,626 unique visitors during the month of January 2007. That’s a 33% increase from last January’s total of 4,801,108 and a 266% increase from January 2005’s total of 1,740,228.
In Canada, NHL.com Network increased its traffic by 25%, earning record levels of traffic for January 2007. In the U.S., the Network increased traffic by 19%. Overall, the Network ranked first among Canadian sports websites, 14th in the U.S and 14th Worldwide.
NHL.com delivered 4,078,225 unique visitors Worldwide in January. That’s a 51% increase from January 2006’s unique visitors total of 2,707,006 and a 358% increase from January 2005’s total of 890,021. In the U.S., NHL.com was up 35% from last year. In Canada, NHL.com was up 36%.
