“It’s no secret what Scotty has meant to this organization over the past three years,” said Executive Vice President/General Manager Brian Burke. “Needless to say, we are thrilled he’s returning to play for the upcoming season.”
“I had a great time last season after returning to the team,” said Niedermayer. “I’m excited about having another opportunity to win, and fully expect this team to be competing for another Stanley Cup next spring.”

“Is it December already?”
Kate, as soon as the news came out, my first thought was to send Scotty a ‘thank you’ note. I’m so grateful we won’t be talking about this constantly for another season!

Alanah, don’t worry. I’m more than sure the Ducks will provide us with more drama than we can handle. Unless, of course, little Gary.Ass manages to keep all the dirty dealings and perjury items out of the news.
Off the topic, have you ever seen Net Worth? Best hockey movie ever!

I remember you mentioning that movie the other day, and I was thinking about it then, that I might have seen it a number of years ago. But I’m not sure—I guess I’ll have to watch it again.
