No Diagnosis On Havlat’s Injury Until Tests Are Complete

via David Pollak of Working the Corners,

The Sharks will be without Marty Havlat when they play the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday night, but coach Todd McLellan said today the extent of the right wing’s injury remains to be determined.

“He’s got a lower body injury and he’s being re-evaluated today,” McLellan said, adding that medical tests weren’t done over the weekend. “We’ll know more when we get those results.”...

As he came over the boards, Havlat said, his skate got “caught a little bit. It was just quick and I felt pain. I couldn’t even get up so I had to get off right away. I didn’t want to be on the ice for that long.”

If you missed the injury, watch it below…
