No Newman Equals Turco Win

Petite, sexy-cougar anthem songstress Karen Newman has stood next to Marty Turco at the start of every Stars game at Joe Louis Arena and belted out the anthem on a Red Wing red carpet…until last night.
Over the years Marty has heard her voice, then the goal horn repeatedly - followed by the crusty tones of rink public address man Bud Lynch announcing Red Wing goals. It was like a symphony of negativity, the soundtrack of an 0-8-2 record.
Newman!
So when some unremarkable young female singer stepped from the zamboni tunnel to sing last night it was like an auditory surrender to the eardrums of Turco and the Stars.
No Karen Newman – no Wings victory. Coincidence?
We can’t mention Karen without mentioning her website too!

Used to have season tix next to her and her beau… she certainly is a sexy lil thing. A real deal fan too… so that’s a big time, turgid bonus… uh, yeah.. bonus.
