Phil Kessel is taunting the possibility.
He taunts it with a no-look pass.
He taunts it with a bullet from the left circle.
He taunts it with his bursts of speed.
But make no mistake that for all the taunting possibilities, the Leafs would be simply foolish to rush Kessel back this soon.

i think you’re right, its not worth kessel coming back 12 days early, while he could be a big difference maker (4 ot games, 4 ot losses, im not suggesting that he is a saviour by any means, but it could be a perfect fit to get that little bit extra scoring) its still not worth a relapse to his injury.
In regards to the ribiero incident, let me say first of that i don’t really like his style of play, but i don’t think he was acting there. It seemed like he was trying to get ready for impact, but the stick just ended up not hitting him. it was a bad call by the refs, for sure, but i dont think he was acting
