No to Las Vegas

from the Toronto Star,
Whether it’s Pete Rose, Atlanta Falcons safety Eugene Robinson, who was caught soliciting a prostitute the night before the Super Bowl, or Minnesota Vikings quarterback Daunte Culpepper, who faces misdemeanor charges after allegedly engaging in public sex acts on a team cruise, there are myriad examples of pro athletes with a lot to lose caving in to temptation.
If baseball or the NHL approve a team in Las Vegas, expect more unsavoury scandals. It’s a sucker’s bet.
