No To The Rangers

from the NY Post,
“We don’t want the Rangers in the playoffs,” Jersey Jimmy Dowd declared yesterday, prepping for the Devils’ return match at the Garden tonight.
It’s a distinctly uncharitable sentiment toward a team that is threatening to miss the playoffs for the eighth season in nine. The Rangers need help, and the Devils are only willing to help them miss again. Seven other teams will make the Eastern playoffs. Dowd prefers anyone else, just not the Rangers.
“That team’s a scary team. If they get on a roll, you don’t want to play them,” Dowd said.
