Let the rumors begin: Randy Sexton says no one—including Tomas Vokoun—off limits in trade talks with Panthers.
If Vokoun dealt, look for it tomorrow. Panthers GM Randy Sexton said other night that big money should be moved before Olympics.

Have just been informed that Tomas Vokoun WILL NOT waive no trade, at least not now

Wow. If the Flyers get Vokoun they could turn it around big-time…

Vokoun has a hefty contract at least this year.
Of their team the only players that will have a good degree of return (for the panthers) are: Steve Reinprecht, David Booth, and Nathan Horton (Stillman maybe). I don’t think they’ll move Horton (or weiss and frolik). Reinprecht is a faceoff specialist but has decent hands…I’d say a 2nd rounder or a 3rd line roster player. Booth could net a 2nd liner and a pick or minor leaguer.
A lot of teams in the east value Booth…teams like Pit, Buf, and NYI might look to get him at a significant discount.
Still…moving young talent is a bad idea for this team.
