The Edmonton Oilers have acquired defenceman Lubomir Visnovsky from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for forward Jarret Stoll and defenceman Matt Greene.

Stoll disappointed a lot this year, and I’m still unsure on Greene… but I don’t see Visnovsky making EDM any better of a team. I know what they’ve desperately needed is a puck-moving d-man, but Visnovsky comes with the baggage of being a poor defender and inconsistent… not what EDM needs.
