from the CP via TSN,
“We still have faith in this group,” Tambellini said. “We have a big weekend coming up. We can have a solid weekend here. We need a strong effort against St. Louis, no question."…
“The players have to produce,” Tambellini said. “They have to play regardless of system or pressure, whatever the situation is. That’s their job.
“We’re working hard. We’re under-achieving in some areas as far as the offensive output, but I think everyone would agree there is enough skill on this hockey team to be a good offensive team.”

Let’s just say MacT is let go, who in the opinion of Edmonto fans, should replace him?
Torts, Hartley, etc,. or someone within the organization or perhaps a new face?

Paul, I’m a Flames fan, but I think the Oilers need to go outside the organization, the Flames tried to stay within the ranks by promoting Playfair, and that was a disaster.
Torts may be a good fit in Edmonton, I think he could relate very well to the young guys on the team. Not a big fan of Hartley. Maybe Ted Nolan should get another chance at a NHL gig.

Well, listening to Pierre McGuire on Fan590 now, he said if there was a change right now, it would not come from the outside, Lowe would take over.

Time to break up the old boys group...As much as MacT should be gone, Lowe put him in a tough spot with signing iffy players to big dollars based on a miracle run to the Cup finals.
