Oilers Have Shown No Interest In Keeping Pisani

from Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal,
Fernando Pisani wouldn’t mind an offer he can even refuse, but so far none has come across his agent’s desk, so the 2006 NHL playoff scoring hero is in limbo with the unrestricted free-agent market doors swinging open in 15 days.
If the Edmonton Oilers wanted the right-winger back, certainly at a major pay cut from his current $2.5-million salary, they likely would have sent agent Mark Witken a proposal by now, or at least talked, but there hasn’t been any of that.
“If you know anything, let me know,” said Witken.
