from the Edmonton Sun,
If, after going 1-17-1 in their previous 19 games, scoreless in their previous eight periods and hopeless for as long as anyone cares to remember, the Edmonton Oilers concluded their six-week March of the Damned with a win in Calgary.
If the hated Flames miss the playoffs because the blind squirrels to the north find an acorn tonight in the Saddledome.
This is too good.
Who could have guessed that the last game of Edmonton’s worst year ever would be this compelling, this important?
