Very scary moment: Kyle Okposo jsust got leveled in open ice by Dion Phaneuf. He’s on his back now and they are bringing out the stretcher.

106 combined PIM in a preseason game…
Phaneuf didn’t leave his feet to make the hit, but something elbow height sent Okposo’s helmet flying. Legal or not, who tries to light up another player in the preseason, especially if your spot on the roster is set.

To answer your question Chris, a douchebag tries to light up a player under those circumstances. I believe there’s a picture of Dion the Neanderthal next to the definition of douchebag in case you were wondering.
