Well I’ll be damned—seems old Colin has a pair after all. This is almost as incredible as the scoresheet from last nights game!!! Surely has to have sent a stern message to Sasquatch, not to mention the other few members of the Duck cheap-shot players.

Hey Paul: Just curious, do you know if the NHL will issue any sort of statement associated with the suspension?

I will have it when released, will add it to the post.
But it will be a standard release…

Here is what NHL.com had to say:
TORONTO —The National Hockey League announced today that Anaheim Ducks defenseman Chris Pronger has been suspended for one game for a blow to the head of Detroit Red Wings forward Tomas Holmstrom in Western Conference Final Game #3 in Anaheim, May 15.
The incident occurred at 11:40 of the second period.
Pronger will miss Game 4 of the Western Conference Final, Thursday at Anaheim. He will be eligible to return for Game 5, Sunday at Detroit.

Well, not nearly enough for a repeat offender like Pronger, but at least it’s something. I really doubted that the NHL would have the stones to do the right thing.
A step in the right direction.
