from Ansar Khan of Mlive,
Asked what he expects from Osgood, Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said, “A win. Stop the puck and win, real simple.
“It’s not like he hasn’t been practicing. He’s going to go in and play well for us, and we’re going to rally around him.”
Babcock said Osgood also will start one of the final three games. Osgood’s last appearance was a 28-minute relief stint in a 6-3 loss to Vancouver on March 3. His last win was Dec. 12 in Nashville.
“I got to get some games, get ready in case I have to go in in the playoffs. You never know what’s going to happen,” Osgood said Friday. “Plus, it could be a big game, it’s pretty close in the standings. I haven’t played for a while, but I feel good.”
