By popular request tonight, here’s the scrap in Boston featuring Zdeno Chara and David Koci. And while Koci’s face looks like he was in a car wreck after the fight, it’s worth remembering he only broke his nose a few nights ago fighting Wade Belak, so that might be the primary cause of the mess.

Good grief. I’m not a Wings fan, and that wasn’t an analysis—just speculation made some readers at HockeyFights.com that I thought I’d pass on.

Um… Alanah’s analysis is correct.
Koci took a good hard square punch on an already broken nose. Chara won the fight and he’s an underrated fighter because drops ‘em so seldomly, but the graphic scene here isn’t because he did something amazing.

I rarely defend Alanah - she needs tough love—but calling her a Wings fan is a bit much. She’s able to use multisyllabic words, and by all counts her personal hygiene is impeccable. Really. Save the insults for those who deserve them.
