from Dave Stubbs of the Montreal Gazette via the National Post,
The Montreal Canadiens have included a 2009 game at Olympic Stadium as one of their centennial projects, though the match is far from being confirmed....
“A game (at the Big O) is a project that we’ve discussed with the RIO,” Canadiens vice-president Donald Beauchamp said Wednesday of talks the club has had with the stadium’s provincial-government landlord. “That’s as far as the project has gone.”

I thought the “O“‘s roof was now closed permanently so it really wouldn’t be an outdoor game.

If I have read right the roof would be undergoing repairs at the time a thus wouldn’t be on the stadium making it an outdoor game.

Thanks everyone for clarifying the roof situation.
We will see where this leads, but remember a decision is a long way off on this one.

I don’t think they should be involved in two outdoor games before most teams can get in one..
Toronto, New York, Philadelphia to name a few should get one.
