Ovechkin Wants To Win

from Dan Gelston of the AP via USA TODAY,
Is he frustrated by his lack of production? Nope
Is the Flyers physical play affecting him? Nah.
Would a possible line change help? Hope so.
About the only thing Ovechkin would admit after Wednesday’s practice is that he’s had enough of the losing. Philadelphia owns a 2-1 series lead over the Capitals and Washington, which entered the postseason as one of the hottest teams in the league, has lost consecutive games for the first time since Feb. 23-24 entering Thursday night’s Game 4.
“I’m frustrated we’re losing,” Ovechkin said. “It’s not about scoring, it’s about winning.”

FlyersFan, let me guess, you didn’t make it past the summary? :( Not even one comment on the article itself? Just the headline?
Don’t forget, you are watching the games with black and orange glasses on. Rather than comparing Ovechkin to an overhyped player on another (completely unrelated) team, maybe you could focus on the fact that the Flyers are defending Ovechkin very effectively so far in the series. Or the fact that Briere is on absolute fire right now. Always so negative! ![]()
I do think that the remainder of the series will be interesting, no matter how it turns out. I can’t wait to see how Ovechkin adjusts his game, and I can’t wait to see how the Flyers respond.

There are few greater ironies in life than a fan of Danny Briere’s team calling out anyone else for diving.
