Panic Starting To Set In

You know the Wings fans are starting to panic when they call up a sports radio show today and say the Wings should get Adam Deadmarsh. The fan hasn’t heard much about him lately, but he would be a good pickup.
You know the sports jocks on Detroit radio don’t know much about the game when they are demanding the Wings trade for Dwayne Roloson- today!
Another example, trade either Franzen or Filppula for Fedorov.
One last remark from a sports jock today- if the Wings wanted Tomas Kaberle, well getting a rental like him would cost a lot (guys, he is signed thru 2010-11 season).

With Detroit playing like poopsicles for the last little bit, and Dallas melting the ice they have been so hot, Detroit still has a 10 point lead in the conference.
It’s kind of quaint that a real losing streak/slump is so rare that so many have forgotten what it looks like.
I think it’s because of the odd effects of a leap month - the NHL has turned into bizarro-hockey-world. Wings losing, Ottawa struggling, Edmonton and Los Angeles (6-3 over Calgary!) are on hot streaks, etc. Craziness abounds.

Panic—no, terror for me—as I hear the strains of Bowie & Queen “scream let me out”. As I ranted in the Forum, I occassionally expect the Wings to lose. But this last stretch of games, their play, appears to me, to be mistake-filled and uninspired. Pathetic really.
Panic, terror, stress—wheres the queue for the Cheif’s train!!!
Uncle Mike needs to put his pshycho major to work—at top speed. For goodness sake do something!!!

I call into 97.1 very rarely now a days, their hockey knowledge is pretty pathetic.
