Panthers Need To Start Winning

from Steve Gorten of the Sun-Sentinel,
It’s too early to deem this another poor start to the season, but the Panthers are skating in that direction after four games.
They lost their third in a row Saturday, dropping their home opener 3-2 to the Devils. That emotional shootout win against the Blackhawks on Oct. 2 seems as distant as the miles between Helsinki and Sunrise.
“We have to get it right in a hurry or we’ll be in big trouble,” goalie Tomas Vokoun said.
Coach Pete DeBoer tried to put a positive spin on the situation after Saturday’s game, noting it’s a long season and that he likes this team and how it’s capable of playing.
“I think we’re going to be fine,” he said.
