from Tom Gulitti of Fire & Ice,
The Devils decided not to practice today and had the players work out off the ice today. Both Zach Parise and Bryce Salvador were there and said they plan to play in Friday night’s game against Nasvhille….
Parise said he thinks his “upper-body injury” had “something to do with Monday”—meaning Monday’s 3-2 loss in Philadelphia. Kimmo Timonen did pick up a boarding penalty for hittting Parise late in that game, but there was nothing obvious wrong with him afterward and he was able to practice on Tuesday afternoon.
“When I woke up yesterday morning I wasn’t feeling right at all,” he said.
