Pat Jablonski Recovering From Surfing Accident

From the Tampa Bay Lightning, this statement:

Former Lightning goalie Pat Jablonski suffered two broken vertebrae in a body surfing accident off Anna Maria Island this past Sunday. Jablonski was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital on Monday evening and underwent surgery on Tuesday to relieve pressure on a pinched spinal cord. The post-surgical prognosis is very good and Jablonski hopes to return home later this week. In fact, he has already been walking this morning.[...]

“I want to thank everyone for their well wishes, thoughts and prayers during what has been perhaps the scariest time of my life,” Jablonski said
