Patrick Kaleta Suspended Two Games

TORONTO (November 28, 2009) – Buffalo Sabres forward Patrick Kaleta has been suspended for two games, without pay, for an incident in NHL game #356 against Philadelphia Flyers forward Jared Ross, Friday afternoon, the National Hockey League announced today.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, and based on his average annual salary, Kaleta will forfeit $5,414.50. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
Kaleta was assessed a major penalty for boarding at 9:28 of the first period.

i’ll be consistent. ross made the stupid mistake turning around making himself venerable. he was looking for the power play there. Kaleta is apart of a bigger problem inwhich he does these dirty hits and then he turtles everytime someone wants to kick his ass on ice.
i cant name one player who has any respect for that guy.

It’s hacks like Kaleta that need to be suspended 10-12 games instead of one or two. Those suspensions are too light and aren’t stopping players from running each other. Campbell needs to start giving out longer suspensions.
