Pittsburgh wins 3-2 in a game filled with numerous scoring chances.
It looks like this series could go deep.

Cam Ward played great. He stopped 2 breakaways and absolutely robbed Bill Guerin. If he plays like that all series it’ll be a tough one for the Pens.
But not to be lost in it all, Fleury had a solid game as well and made a couple key saves to help get the W.

Cooke sucks. When he gets suspended for the cheap shot on Cole, it will be good for the Penguins
he’s not getting suspend.
Ward kept candy canes in that game but they didnt score enough goals.
They also utilized the Mike Richards wait, wait, cut, shoot strategy pretty effectively.
are you talking about he same mike richards the hockey player or mike richards who spends too much time in the bars in olde city and have pictures of him always popping up on facebook?
he needs to stay out of the bars and constrate on hockey

If Cooke gets suspended it will just prove that the NHL is F’d. Ovie’s was worse and no suspension.

Miro Satan UNDRESSED Ward. I think Ward’s jockstrap is still on the ice at the Igloo.

Sorry, I don’t pay attention to Facebook. But how Richards spend his long summers is his business.
Cooke should get suspended. He tried to do that more than Ovechkin tried to knee Gonchar. He is so slow reacting to the play and his puck skills look like mine. As I said, he sucks.
Both goalies played well. I expected it of Ward, Fleury was more of a wild card. If all of the games are like that, its going to be a long series.

@dip
You mean the LEADER of ALL TIME Richards, If the Canes follow his lead they’ll be playing golf with him in week or 10 days
@Kstewy

Carolina is faster than I thought. They also utilized the Mike Richards wait, wait, cut, shoot strategy pretty effectively. Pens never seem to be able to catch on that Richards is going to do it, will they figure it out with Carolina?
