from the Cape Breton Post,
“I’ve had the chance to play a lot the last two or three years, so it’s good for me to get that experience and just try to learn every year a little bit more,” said the 22-year-old, visiting his former billet family, Bob and Angela Hawkins of Westmount and their two children, Janelle and Jeffrey. “The team, too, has been improving along the way. Everything will make us a better team.”...
Many analysts believe the Penguins are the team of the future, but Fleury and his teammates are striving to be the team of today.
“I hope so — that’s our goal and that’s what we want,” he said, of winning the Stanley Cup. “But I don’t think the guys on the team want to wait a couple of years. Last year, we improved a lot and if we keep improving the same way this year, I think every year, our chances will get better.”
