Phoenix Re-Signs Upshall

GLENDALE, ARIZONA—Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have re-signed left wing Scottie Upshall to a one-year contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

“We are excited to have signed Scottie Upshall to a new contract,” said Maloney. “He performed exceptionally well for us last season after we acquired him from Philadelphia and we expect him to be an important player for us next season.”

Good signing.  They really need a stable core of guys on that team.
