Mere weeks after he broke Steve Moore’s neck and ended his career in a vicious on-ice attack, NHL star Todd Bertuzzi transferred the ownership of his million-dollar home in Kitchener to his wife Julie, a move Moore’s lawyers say in court documents was designed to “make Bertuzzi creditor-proof to the greatest extent possible.”

Me, too, George. I’ve not researched this, but it sure seems like everyone with lots of baggage never really works out to be a positive.

I hate to say this, but as a Wings fan, I think that one of the reasons Bertuzzi left Detroit for Anaheim was to get as far away from the Toronto-based Danson and Moore’s Windsorite family…and, at this point, the litigation taking place makes me guiltily admit that I’m glad he’s not our problem anymore.
