Not that I’m into bragging or anything like that, but, remember, it was The Maven who reassured all you Rangers fans that the Blueshirts still had a heartbeat.
And let’s not forget that these reassurances were issues while virtually every other media type – especially the print guys – were jumping OFF the New York bandwagon faster than a Jagr wrist shot....
As I told you before the other blokes got around to it, the Sean Avery acquisition is the STEAL of steals and would be the catalyst for a revival.

The TB win yesterday was still a big blow to the Rangers playoff chances. Unless the Rangers go on a big win streak (winning over 2/3rds of their remaining games in the process) and Tampa and Toronto remain stagnant, it will be really hard for them to go anywhere in the playoff race.
