Word is #Lightning Malone had surgery on his ailing shoulder recently and could be lost up to 4-6 months. A mid Dec #NHL return is projected

Wow….. that puts a real wrench in Tampa Bay’s plans… I wonder if they’re going to spend more money because of it or if Vinik isn’t going to pay up. Lightning isn’t deep enough for a loss like this, is it?
